Description
Anchorage School District is hiring School Psychologists for the 2025-26 school year. Contract is 182 days, with the work calendar beginning mid-August and ending just before Memorial Day. We are willing to consider part-time employment. 

The School Psychology department is situated in the Department of Mental Health and Student Supports and provides opportunities to practice across all NASP domains. There is district level support and implementation of MTSS and current initiatives in developing an integrated systems framework for mental health and PBIS.We are seeking school psychologists who are interested in being a part of an incredible school psychology team and providing comprehensive services. This includes assessments, consultation, collaborative problem solving, providing behavior and mental health supports, crisis intervention, and leadership opportunities. 
Anchorage School District is a diverse school district with a little over 43,000 students. Ethnically diverse students comprise more than 50 percent of the student population and 110 languages are spoken.

Salary Information for School Psychologist Positions:
School psychologists are part of Anchorage Education Association (AEA) and follow the salary schedule in the AEA/ASD negotiated agreement which can be accessed here. School psychologist positions currently receive a supplemental rate of 6%. Additional annual salary supplements are provided based on highest degree of education (Master’s level 1.25%, Doctorate Level 3%). School psychologists holding their Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NSCP) also receive an annual $2,000 bonus.

Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations; experience in development and implementation of IEP’s. 5. Experience translating evaluation data into concrete educational prescriptions.
